How to copy command prompt output?


Windows 7 command prompt can be used with clip utility that is use to copy content of command prompt.it is much similar to Tee utility in UNIX. clip command copy data to clipboard in text format so that we can easily get it by pasting in notepad or in other text processing software.

Syntax of using clip is “command | clip”
e.g.> c: dir | clip


 
And when you simply paste in notepad you will see
