How to hack or bypass Firewall?

Firewall is the primary and basic component for securing network. Actually firewall’s purpose is to isolate different network so, that they cannot effect each other. Generally hacker do it by bypassing the antivirus or antispyware by some methods like crypting, hexing and file-pumping but hacking a firewall is not an easy task that’s why I am writing this article that how to hack or bypass a firewall.

Hacker call firewall hindrance or obstacle.

The working of firewall

Hacker mostly use SSH tunneling method to bypass firewall.

What is SSH Tunneling?

A secure shell (SSH) Tunnel consist of an encrypted tunnel through an SSH protocol connection. User may set up tunnels to tunnel unencrypted traffic over a network through an encrypted channel - Wikipedia.

Why to hack or bypass a firewall?

Firewall create problem for hackers as in colleges and in university you have faced the problem that network administrator deny the file sharing or some websites like Facebook, twitter, Myspace etc. are not reachable and you get error like this page is not available.

SSH Tunneling

 Now we will learn the how to bypass the firewall follow the given steps to bypass firewall.

First create an account to SSH access. There are lot of websites which provide free and paid SSH account. Use shell.red-pill.eu

Now you have to download and open source SSH client named as putty

After downloading run the software.

And then you will see this setting page.

In the host name enter the name of server through which we can connect the SSH access. Remember to select SSH using port 22.

Now in SSH option select the Tunnel here we will setup the tunnel.

Now click on open and login with your username and password which is given to you from SSH provider.

Here our tunnel part is complete.

Wireshark.                                

The next tool that we will use is wireshark. You can download it from here.

Now install it and run it and start capturing packets. In the first it will be empty.

Now open any site in your browser and wireshark will start capturing packets

 

 

Configuring the Mozilla Firefox.

In this part we will configure the Mozilla so that we can use the SSH connection.

Open the Mozilla browser and then select “tools” and then “option”

Click on “Advance” tab and then click on “Network” and the click on “setting”.

Now we are in connection setting window enter “localhost” as the “Socks Host and Port number, such as”1080” into the “port:” field.

Now back to wireshark and you will see some SSH connection and you will be able to bypass firewall
