Get free SMS alert for email in gmail
hello guys today i m going to tell you how to get the sms on your phone for every coming email in you gmail inbox. the best part of this is that it is free of cost unless your network carrier charge for it but mostly it is free. follow simple steps given below to use this service.

Steps
- login to your gmail account. if you don't have then create new one. click here to login and sign up
- now click on the setting box in the top right side and then on setting as shown in figure.
- now when the setting will open click on the labels and click on create new label you will find it in the bottom of page.
- now name it exactly same i am doing. name it "smsMail" without quote.
- now from the same menu from where you clicked label click on filter and then click on create new filter
- After clicking on create new filter. you can see a form using it you can customize the email which should be send to you mobile. you can type any name or anything which can match and the incoming emails. or if you want to receive every email coming in your inbox then type is:inbox like i did.
- after clicking the filter now you will see a from where you have to mark the apply this label and choose smsMail. and click on create.
Now we are done with the setting up gmail in the further steps we will go to google doc to set up script follow these steps now

- now click on top left menu and choose sheets as shown in image.
- and then click on + icon to make spreadsheet. and then click on tools and then click script editor.
- after clicking on script editor a new page will be open. click on custom style sheet after that you will see auto generated code delete that and paste the code. i m providing. click here to see the code.
- now paste the copy the code from link given above and paste it in new sheet and then click on file and then save as "smsMail" and then click on run and then click on authorize.
now we are done with setting up the spreadsheet. now we have to go to google calender. follow steps given below.

- and then click on the setting on the top right corner and the click on setting.
- and after opening settings tab click on general tab and set your timezone and country. and then click on mobile setup there enter your mobile no. and then google will send verification code and then enter that to verify.
- and then click on calender tab there click on create new calender(if you see smsMail there no need to create) and name that "smsMail".
- now after creating click on setting and then open calender and there you can see smsMail now click on edit notifications.
- now mark all those box which you want below sms and the save
- now you need to reopen the script in which you copied and pasted the code ( see spreadsheet steps above if you forget how to do). and there click on resources and then click on current project's trigger.
- now you will see a pop there click on add new trigger. you can set the frequency of getting mails here and then click on save.
you are done now. send a test mail to yourself to check this and if you will face any problem comment below.
